Growing Ivy
Hold me like an ivy
on the elongated stem of a palm:
Let me remain green with you
Let me purify you with my water.
We are two;
Looking into my eyes together
Looking into yours together,
We hid our lust in our hazy pupils
on a softly raining brown day.
Grass sprouts as much
in the soil and everything that rises from the soil,
The frisson of this grassy forest
Pours into my sight, and
You spring up in the form of being
Spreading across the boughs, spreading out singly.
You are neither a man nor a person
If I were a eagle, I would call you sky.
Every moment renews in each waiting
In the weight of all yesterdays and pasts.
Let’s bestow upon ourselves the ocean
that flows endlessly between us.
